Last November 2014, I went to Taiwan together with some of my family friends. I wasn’t planning to blog about the trip but…I just have to. Everything I witnessed, everything I experienced, I want you guys to discover this simple yet beautiful, exciting, and organized country!
This entire series is all about my Taiwan trip highlights. I want to share as much as I can. I hope you guys will enjoy it!
First and foremost, I’m a big fan of coffee shops. The moment I found out that we were going to Taiwan, I immediately researched and listed down the best coffee shops there. (Discovery Tip: Check out Taiwan Loves Coffee‘s social sites for more coffee shops around Taiwan)
One of the many coffee shops that I found was Costumice Cafe. I first saw it here (blog link)
Thank God for Alain’s wonderful parents (and the help of our GPS) for locating this cafe! Hashtag:Blessed.

The moment we got there, I was shouting and jumping for joy (internally, of course)! Anything wood, anything shade of brown, and anything coffee makes me ohhh-so-happy!~
We didn’t have much time to chill, so I decided to spend 90% of my time taking photos while sipping my favorite caramel macchiato in between.

Who wouldn’t want to spend a chill afternoon in this beautiful place?
A quiet neighborhood, the right amount of breeze, it’s no wonder so many people choose to spend their time here.

We also found a not-so-hidden basement!

Everything is just so photogenic <3
Taiwan is known for their milk tea, but I think their coffees are equally top-class! The shops are like the hidden gems of the city. Given a chance, I would definitely go back here and chill with a book and my laptop. <3

And by the way, the street around Costumice Cafe has a lot of cute boutiques. So if you like fashion in general, definitely go to this place. It’s like a fashion street of some sort! There are Lookbook people walking all over the place, yet the place never gets too crowded. It’s a great place to walk around and go shopping

Don’t you just love discovering new places? I’m sure that, while reading this post, you were thinking about the cool places you’ve been in too! Go ahead and share them with us!
