It’s been a while since my last photowalk, so I was really excited to start Share Movement’s year by organizing a special photowalk! I collaborated with brilliant photographers and Instagrammers, Raniel Hernandez and Pat Nabong!
After countless online meetings, planning, brainstorming, we organized a special insta-meet for a cause called InstaCause! (How creative right? HAHA!)
On the morning of March 14, we gathered at UP theather ready to shoot the day away! Our attendees were mixed photographers, moms, students, hobbyist and a lot more!
We started the day with a little ice breaker before I told them what Share Movement’s all about! After that, Raniel and Pat gave some tips about mobile and street photography.
I was able to meet some of my contributors too!
I’m so thankful for Mia Sison of Juice Hut Manila for sponsoring us again! I met her during our Blog:Inspired workshop last year with Martine De Luna and ever since then, she has been a great supporter of our movement. She’s such a blessing! Not to mention, her juices are superb! As the kids of UP Diliman said, “Hindi lasang gulay!”.
Healthy plus delicious, what more can you ask for?
After our workshop, we went around UP to shoot and apply what we learned.
You guys can check out some of their shots here: #InstaCausePH.
We ended the day by eating lunch together (we were too tired to take photos by then! Haha!)
Anyway, who would have thought that photowalks or gatherings like this could actually help people in need? Have fun for a cause!
Thank you so much for everyone who came and took part in this event. Special thanks to our media partners and collaborators, Martine De Luna of Make it Blissful, When In Manila, and Shutter Panda! Congratulations to us, Raniel and Pat! <3
Given a chance, would you join these kinds of events?
Do you know of other place(s) you’d like to recommend for the next InstaCause?
